A Winning Resume

 Tips and Suggestions for  creating a winning resume:

  1. List your accomplishments, be specific don't stretch the truth
  2. Be sure to list your educational background and degree or certificates/licenses.
  3. If you haven’t completed a degree, include the number of courses or credits you’ve completed.
  4. Describe all work experiences including specific duties and responsibilities.
  5. Use action words to describe your work skills.
  6. Emphasize most recent jobs.
  7. Proofread it for grammar, punctuation and spelling errors.
  8. Keep it  to one or two pages.
  9. Make sure your contact information -  including email address are included on the resume.
  10. Use a professional sounding email address.
  11. Omit personal information like age, marital stratus, etc.
  12. Use 8-1/2 x11 inch paper
