Atlantic Media Internship - Business Washington D.C.

Based in Washington, DC, Atlantic Media Company is a nationally-recognized, award-winning media enterprise whose flagship print and online publications — The Atlantic, National Journal, and Government Executive — are among the most influential media outlets in America.

Atlantic Media Company offers high achieving college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates a unique opportunity to participate in the Atlantic Media Internship Program. The Atlantic Media Internship Program is a structured six-month unpaid internship offered twice a year (January-June and July-December) for top-tier talent committed to editorial-side or business-side careers in media. After an overwhelming response from the inaugural July-December 2009 class, we are excited to begin recruiting interns for the January-June 2010 cycle. Up to twenty-five Atlantic Media Interns will be recruited to work full-time in either editorial-side or business-side placements throughout the Company.

Although Atlantic Media Internships are unpaid, a transportation benefit will be provided and interns will participate in the Atlantic Media Academy, a comprehensive curriculum providing a 360-degree view of the modern media industry covering both the editorial, operational, and economic sides of journalism today. In addition, if allowed, we would be pleased to have students use the internship for college credit.
